Support Nana Baby Children’s Home through the I Am Not Alone Foundation at the event!
The St. Thomas Yacht Club Foundation and Intellectual Global Concepts (IGC) are pleased to partner with I Am Not Alone to support the Nana Baby Children’s Home.
Jimmy and his wife Miranda started I Am Not Alone to support those battling cancer. It quickly opened up to assisting individuals (and other non-profits) that were struggling financially, mentally and physically. “No one should ever feel alone,” says Charles.
“Miranda and I have learned so much from our journey and we want to continue to help as many people as we can as long as we can,” he says. “…. just knowing we are making a difference in someone’s life makes me whole.”
Donations and gifts received during the event will be distributed to Nana Baby Children’s Home, along with a special performance for the kids by Jimmy.
Please donate or bring an unwrapped gift and support a child in need.
About Nana Baby:
Nana Baby Home currently has 11 children, ages 2 months to 14 years old, in their care. They are provided with love, and safety, a clean bed and a warm meal, among other things. Some children stay a few days, some years. All children are provided with everything they need for day-to-day life. Each child instantly becomes one of the family, and you can always find love and hope here.
The Nana Baby Children’s Home has been a fixture in the St. Thomas community for over 30 years. They are a 24/7, 365 days-a-year emergency placement group home for children in crisis. Their small team works to create a maintain a warm, safe, loving and happy environment for children.
The Department of Human Services (DHS) places children in the care of Nana Baby Children’s Home in a crisis. It is the only 24-hour facility on St. Thomas and will admit children all hours of the night. The VI Government, community partners and individual donors play a critical role in the home’s success. Nana Baby relies heavily on community support to keep the doors open.
Together Jimmy, Miranda, and the I Am Not Alone family are determined to make sure no one feels alone, especially during the holidays.
Help them make a difference by donating to support a child in need.
